“Comfort and a Cabana”. Realizing the idyllic experience of spending the night in a cabana was the challenge of this project. A cabana where the local popular imagination is rescued through contemporary design and comfort.
From the two types of cabins, two concepts emerged: the Dunes and the Montado. The Comporta landscape revisited in interiors, through materials, textures, colors and shapes. Always contemporary, but deeply rooted in the regional culture and landscape.
In the Dunes cabanas, there is a connection to the sea, the sand and the small plants that grow there. In the Montado cabanas, the texture and color of the earth, the vibration of the cicadas and the warm shade of the trees, create the interior imagination, which also flows to the outside.
